Starting off the year with this miserable comic, to set the tone for the year to come.
Moonbeard 2014 fun(?) facts:
The most popular Moonbeard comic by page views was coin ear magic trick, followed closely by Noah. Least popular probably the one before this one. Most popular on tumblr was Mister Whiskers, by a mile. I think Giant Cat Comic was the most popular on Facebook.
The largest single referrer of traffic for the year was this one time Moonbeard got mentioned in a Buzzfeed article. Which is an article from 2013, by the way. The gift that keeps on giving! They described Moonbeard’s genre as “sadfunnies” which I love.
Last year I put out a Moonbeard sampler and a 132 page Moonbeard book and then did a pretty lousy job of telling anyone. You can get them from the publisher here, along with other fantastic comics from other people.
What about you, what do you want to see more of this year? Less of? None of? Updates kinda disintegrated heading into December, so my main goal is to not do that again. In spite of this I drew more pages last year than 2013 or 2012, so I’m going to try beat that number in 2015.
