Because what the world definitely needs is another comic that is a play on iconic march of progress illustration. Was fun to draw though.
At least it wasn’t a symmetrical depiction ending with the creature hunching over a smartphone. What a statement that would be about the digital age we live in! God I bet that cartoon exists, I would put money on it (though this one probably does too).
