Yeah so this one justifiably got a blank look or two in my flat but I’m putting it up anyway because I’m stubborn like that and generally am pretty opposed to making good decisions

In other news, February is now Phebruary Seymour Hoffman. I am re-watching all of his films, almost certainly starting with Synecdoche, New York. If you haven’t seen it, see it now and then sit in the dark when it finishes and try to figure it all out and then realize it’s probably beyond you and that maybe you weren’t meant to have all the answers and that maybe the elusiveness of “meaning”  in life was part of the point of the film so really in your own way you kinda “got it.” Seriously it’s a fantastic film, bewildering and conceptually cluttered but very rewarding and with one of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s best performances.
