Bleak! Last few have been particularly dark, which I am absolutely okay with as long as it doesn’t feel forced. But I usually try and balance the darker strips with some light whimsy. Throw in half a biscuit for every shit sandwich. So the next comic will be laughing children and smiling rainbows or a cat or something. As it happens, this is pretty much the most linked-to comic on this site, so I probably should write more comics about cats and less of this bleak nonsense.
In other news, Moonbeard has been kindly featured for the month of August in Comic Ave, a webcomic-viewing app for iPhones and other iThings. I haven’t seen it because I have an Android phone and a 7 year old iPod but I’m reliably informed it’s there and Moonbeard is featured on it, or at least was. Anyway it’s a neat concept and they seemed friendly enough in their emails so you should go throw money at them? Not directly at their eyes
